but, updates! I have some important updates, and I want them to show up on my front page:

• I'm going by 'alba' now! if you know my first name or have other nicknames for me, feel free to keep using that, but I'm requesting that people stop using 'myrtu' for me now. thanks!
• I can't change my dA username yet, but I will as soon as I get the chance. I won't be too active around dA until then.
• the URLs for my personal and art blogs have changed too! my personal is albaoaurora and my art blog is albaoart

so now that's out of the way, some more minor updates about me!

first, I started reading homestuck. I started a while ago but it kinda... took over me recently. I'm going to be drawing some of that, so yeah brace yourselves. all my crying will be done on my blog, not here, so no worries about that. I'm still into animorphs! and you should be too, it's great. aaaaand I've recently gotten into DC and Marvel comics too. my favorite is Jaime Reyes the Third Blue Beetle <3333333 I'm still in school, uh... not too interesting so I won't dwell on that. I'm going to try to be more consistent in uploading artwork onto here too! but if you're interested, following my art blog might be a better way to keep track

it's been almost a year since I was last on here .___.

in case you haven't noticed, I moved over to tumblr over the past year! wacky

uh, it's not an art tumblr, so I won't feel bad if you don't feel like watching me babble about things and reblog random stuff, but yeah, I'm there now, and I scream a lot about things mostly Animorphs now, and also anime~ sometimes I post art

so I'm planning on coming back on here to have a neat portfolio of artwork as opposed to my tumblr (I do have a nice tag for all my stuff though), so I'll be uploading stuff I've done over the past year that I'm proud of :> my inbox was a giant mess though, and I've spent the past 2 hours cleaning it out, but noooo I give up for now, going to sleep instead. will get back to it sometime later and check out what I've missed this past year. so sorry to everyone, and I'll be back and continuing things starting this month yaaaay

2. I really adore languages. I'm fluent in English and Spanish, and I'm working on French fluency. And learning Italian. I want to do Portuguese and Russian next too, and then I don't know. BUT I'M NOT GOING TO STOP. YOU CAN'T GET ME TO STOP. EVER. I want to learn Nahuat/Nawat/Pipil too, but it's going to be difficult to even find where to learn it.
3. Extremely lazy person who can't keep track of time.
4. I like food. A lot. And cheese pupusas. Mmmm.

2. What was the last movie you watched, and what did you think of it? DETAILS~
In theaters: ParaNorman. And I loved it! It was delightfully creepy and wonderful. I can't say anything else, I just really loved it. I watched it with Souhaits! (Thanks to DrMistyTang and DrZime for the reviews that convinced me to watch it.)
Last movie I've seen: Princess Mononoke. I've already watched it a few times, but I watched it with my dad and brother. I fell asleep. I really like this movie! And its soundtrack omg. I just keep falling asleep in the middle of it!
EDIT: SCRATCH PRINCESS MONONOKE. I just watched Maurice a few days ago, a 1987 British movie about a gay man Maurice Hall in England in the early 20th century. It's somewhat of a bildungsroman, and I liked it.

3. What's the craziest hair style/color you've ever had, and did you have a special reason for it?
Um, I've never had crazy hair styles or color. Intentionally. There was this one time when I was six that I cut my bangs off because they annoyed me, and I cried because it looked bad.

4. What led you to the path you're on in life right now?
I'm on university path, so... the expectation that I would go to university? I really wanted to be here, and I'm happy to be here (not right now, being sick in a dorm sucks), but yeah, the expectation that I would go to a university was a big factor. Also, I needed to get away from a really horrible bully.

5. What's the most delicious food you've ever made?
That's a tough one. All my food is delicious, and I'll brag about it. Probably my cinnamon pistachio biscotti. I love making them.
